Willits Bend

Willits Bend consists of nine two and three story buildings comprising approximately 84,000 square feet of which approximately 14,600 square feet has been sold or is under contract. The current marketing plan sells 900 to 1,000 square foot units that can be combined side by side or up and down. The project has approvals for a mixed use community, including light industrial office/warehouse, office space and a residential live/work component equaling 25% of the total square footage. The developers envisioned an artist community with lively street exchange reminiscent of a farmers market, but for the arts. Retail use is limited to property owners who produce their products on-site.

Location

Willits Bend is located on Willits Lane, immediately off of Highway 82 and between the Town of Basalt and El Jebel. Willits Bend is within biking distance of the Willits Town Center and a short driving distance to downtown Basalt. Willits Bend is located 20 minutes from Aspen and Snowmass Village.

Design

The Willits Bend design is unique. First floor units have bay windows (garage doors), street frontage, 16' ceilings, and outdoor display space. The second floor units have north facing clerestory windows, 16' to 19' ceilings and outside patio spaces. Each building has custom designed acoustical engineering, commercial grade elevators and full basement for separately purchased storage space.

Vision

Willits Bend offers a product that is unique in Basalt and the valley. The building offers high level construction, customizable spaces, proximity to Aspen, access to Highway 82, additional storage, and plenty of parking.
