I have been a full-time Realtor since 1991. Background
Among the people I work with, I am well regarded for my negotiation skills and tactics. Wendy Lucas Aspen is the culmination of a twenty two year work journey. I have worked and trained at the three top real estate offices throughout the valley and practiced as an attorney in New York, California and Colorado. I established myself as the leading broker in the midvalley, selling more real estate individually than most offices did together. My concentration, for years, was working with developers representing preconstruction sales. In that role I sold hundreds of high end homes, condos and town homes before they ever were built. My "close to contract" ratio was 99%. I still represent and work with the developers, builders and homeowners from that period of my career. I consider it an honor to continue those relationships as I move forward developing the same relationships in the Aspen market.
Green Building
I believe we all, especially the wealthy, have a duty and obligation to do the right thing. That is the main reason I have chosen to specialize in the Green Building movement in the high end real estate market of Aspen. Aspen’s clientele have the unique ability to propel this amazing movement by supporting developers and builders who build high end Green Built luxury homes and encourage their friends and families to do the same. Green Built homes utilize renewable resources, reduce the carbon footprint, conserve water and energy, and use local products, among other things. These homes are healthier for the inhabitants as well as the earth with no and low VOC products, plaster that emits negative ions and feng shui incorporated design.
Aspen Concentration
I list and sell approximately 100 properties every year. My listings are located throughout the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valley, including Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, New Castle, Silt and Rifle. I am currently concentrating on the high end Aspen market. With changes in the economy, my negotiation skills and market acumen are greatly valued by Sellers competing with other distressed sellers and Buyers looking to invest in Aspen or get in while there are still deals. Regardless of the economy, Aspen is and will continue to be a special place to live, to visit, to ski and to love. Four-plex in Holland Hills owned by a plastic surgeon. Worked with Seller to develop condominium documents, establish homeowners association and get the project ready for individual sales. Marketed and sold all units.

155 Single Family Homesites released in stages. Prices have increased from an average of $70,000 to an average of $450,000.
